Linda Maguire

Hi my name is Linda Maguire. 

I am a specialist in newborn and postpartum care. I live in the pretty seaside town of Ayr in the west coast of Scotland.  I qualified in child-care in 1985.   I am fully qualified and experienced in all aspects of infant care and sleep problems.  I hold an up to date Enhanced Disclosure (CBR Check) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid.  In my experience most common baby sleep problems can actually be solved quickly and easily in as little as just a few nights, depending on age and habits.

Oh! I`m also a very proud nanny and grandma!

Over the past five years I have been working mainly with twins and have had excellent results using my techniques gained from my vast experience with babies.   

My work is a great source of satisfaction to me and I absolutely enjoy helping new mothers and their families overcome the unique challenges and problems that a new arrival to the family often brings.  You will find that I have a gentle approach being understanding, patient,compassionate and encouraging.   It is my belief that babies get their security from their mothers confidence - I will ensure that the mum in my care gains confidence through my guidance, support and helpful tips.

My goal is to have you, as mother, relaxed, confident and feeling in control.  Consequently your baby will become relaxed, happy and contented.  Thus all will enjoy a consistently good nights sleep with  good sleep habits!
